what happins when runnin to lean or rich?????

hello i em wondering what happins to your motor when ya run to lean or rich? my motor has me confused on what went wrong should the piston be on a little slant on the outtake left side? some say it has to for compresion but i thought yea right thats bull but what should the valves look like and what would it do to my motor and piston. all my motor did after i got thre 440 runin in it next day i took it out and drove obut 10 mins then clink clink and i shut it off every time i hit tDC ya here a clank but the valve aint stickin out any would it be spring or did i run lean or rich? the piston moves freely in the cynlder on a little slant? if yas could help be great haah soon enogh u guys wont have to answer to my problems haha be gone soon...:confused:

SORRY FOR WHAT I MENT THERE BY SYAIN I EM GETTIN RID OF THE BIKE I AINT GETTIN RID OF A HONDA JUST THE 400 TRADIN FOR ANOTHER HONDA I'LL NEVER GO FOR SOMTHING ELSE THAN A HONDA....GO HONDA OR GO HOME ONLY WAY I SEE :cool:
