Changing Clutches?

Ok I took the clutch cover off(side case), removed the lifter plate and clutch springs. Now I can't get the center locknut off cause I don't have a clutch holding tool. I was just wondering if there was any way I could get that nut off without buying the clutch holding wrench.

Yes it's possible just put the clutch plates back in get someone to hold it there and use an impact wrench on the nut.

You can hold the plate with no problem there just there to stop the hub from spinning in the basket.
