Sad for the young lady in the car.........STUPID for the kid driving the car.

STUPID because if you want to drive on the street like Ricky Racer then you are stupid, go to a drag strip!!!!!! STUPID for taking that girls life.........

I don't really feel sad for the kid driving, if you play you pay. I do feel sorry for the parents of the girl.

How would you feel if that was your daughter in the car, I have 4 daughters and if a kid was driving like that with one of my girls in the car and they got hurt, he would wish he was dead.

Sorry to sound so Harsh, but as tragic as this is stupidity is what killed these two young people......if you think I'm too harsh then wait till you have kids:mad: :mad:

Thats is very sad makes me almost want to cry. That music helps do it to. I hope people learn by this but that is one of the sadest things i have seen in along time.

Thats a sad story and hopefully it opens peoples eyes as to how dangerous street racing can really be. Like it was said in the article . Keep the racing off the streets and on the tracks . What is 10$ a night to go take your car to a local Drag strip and race in a secure environment. It makes me mad when I see a bunch of guys go out to a back road and line up . Like use some common sense . People build drag strips to keep you off the streets and be able to have fun while being safe . Trust me , growing up with Drag Cars and having Drag Racing as a family sport ( my parents are involved as well as many uncles) is awesome . You get to realize that racing on the streets just isnt as fun as at the track . I feel sorry for the families .

It really brings it into perspective. That know matter how good you've got it (seems like he had a pretty good life) or how good of a driver you are, one day it will catch up to you! It can be taken away just as quick as it is given! :(
