FST's Mickey Dunlop in ATV Action said taking off the choke on a 3 or 400ex will help gain some power. How in steps would u dissasemble it?

First take off the seat and turn fuel off and remove gas tank. Loosen both screws holding carb on and pull carb out. Look inside and you will see the choke with 2 small screws holding the plate on. Take both screws out and the plate will fall out. I would leave the small bar but it can be removed if you take the black cap off the side and pull it out. Be sure to replace the cap if you do this so dirt wont be sucked in! I would not remove the choke if you dont plan to rejet. If you replace stock #38 pilot with a #42; it will be fine. I believe it will help air flow some; I did mine a few onths ago.
