might be a good idea to talk to tc about what kind of riding/racing you do and let them recomend one.

I believe TC only has two cams for the 400, his MX and XC. The MX is more mid-top end and the XC is more bottom-mid if I remember correctly.

i have the GNCC 926 grind cam from TC. U lose a little bit of bottom end with it, but the mid to top is a ton better. im very pleased with it.

yes the GNCC 926 cam is the drop in, the MX 924 is not. The 926 is the one i have, i guess its made for XC racing, but u get more top end out of it then anything. you lose bottom end, but not a lot. Its a great cam.

Yeah the XC cam is a drop-in. I plan on getting a 416 Piston and his XC Cam after our Thanksgiving ride. Should work well once I get the FCR all dialed in.

Rico how is the Hinson basket and Sparks 8 plate working for you? My clutch is starting to go and I think that's the setup I want.

u guyz are wrong about the MX cam

it is a drop in i have it... i have a tc mx grind cam 99% sure it was 924 i can't remember the exact number its been 2 years...

one thing i notice and everyone notices when they ride my 406 is it loves to be reved... it has no low end really but mid and top are crazy over stock... it pull is awesome on the mid and top...

its a direct drop in... i put in new stock rockers and springs with it and thats all... no hard rockers or special springs...

205$ + stk cam

btw i ride woods with this cam and its really hard at times... if u don't keep ur power up and the power on it can bog out at times... it loves to be WFO:macho

so what should i do, i mean i ride alot of the hills in 2nd but i need more power throught 2-4th, cuz when me and lil dude ride trails we usually ride quick and the hills have very very small runs, so maybe i need a mid range cam?

I think you would be fine with the XC cam. Many GNCC racers use it. Check with 465Stroker if you have questions about it.

remember im still using the stock piston, im sure if i had a higher compression piston my bottom end would have actually improved.
