Got a new KLX today.

Traded my CR250 in on a KLX110 today. It is cold and raining outside but man this thing is alot of fun!

I mean pitbikes are fun and all, but a CR250 is MUCH more fun than a KLX110. Whatever floats your boat though, congrats.

No, it was straight up. I think i got a pretty good deal since my CR was a 97 and the KLX is an 04. The CR250 was too big for me and I am so used to quads i couldnt stand riding it becuase I sucked too much to ride hard. It was boring, now i got a bike i can push to its limits...Actually its mostly just for a pit bike at the races.

why...why buy the klx, i thought u were talking about a klx 300 i was thinking not bad but klx 110? if ur gonan get a mini you would of been better off selling the cr and buying a new xr 50 and modding it

I don't really think that was a smart choice, the KLX110 is a really small bike, my brother is 11 and weighs 65lbs and can ride that bike no problem...unless you're a small person? I would've gotten a YZ125 or something or a CR85 Expert...:huh

No, i race a YFZ450, im not a small person. Actually thats the reason why i didnt get the XR/CRF now 50. It was just too small the KLX is the perfect size for me. I mean why is a 50 better than a 110? I dont know, just everybody around here has 110s or ttr90s for pitbikes, everyone told me to stay away from the 50 so i did.

My fault, I didn't know you raced a YFZ and just needed a pit bike, in that case the KLX was a good bike to go with just for cruising around there. It's fun to putt around on:D

Haha, yeah im too lazy to walk up and get a burger or check classes. I dont know what i like better, having the KLX110 or getting rid of the CR250. I always wanted a dirtbike untill i got one, I used to think they looked like fun..:macho

When I'm not in the mood to be riding hard or any of that jazz I just ride my brothers 110 and just putt around on it, it's so fun to just mess around on doing wheelies and cruising around at like 10-15mph...:p I would like to have a CR85 Expert but I can't ride dirtbikes anymore, when I was little I had a JR50 (still have that!) but then I saw a Blaster and fell in love with it...then saw the 400EX's and had to have one, ever since then I've ridden quads...dirtbikes do look like a lot of fun but I just don't have the skills, at least on the trails around here...have fun with your new toy:p

That is nuts, they sell 9 1/2" travel forks for 999$, long travel shocks, 4 gear kits and manual clutches:eek2: ..You could spend 5K easy on these things!

yeah, the im 240 and i use to ride a xr 50 no problem, there better built more durable, lighter, better handling etc

sounds like its alot of fun, people think i was stupid for spending 1,000 on my 50, they just dont understand :rolleyes: . i couldnt see myself on a big bike either, ive ridden cr 250's and crf 450's and i would kill myself riding one all day. i have so much fun on my 50, i like big bikes they are alot of fun, but im a quad guy.

Do any of you pitbike riders jump big on them? I was jumping like 2 feet in the air today 10 feet far and bottoming out bad, i understand thats because there made for 50# kids. What do most of you do about that? I cant imagine the guys that jump 30 foot doubles on them.:eek2:

i did a 35 foot table on my crf70, but its far from stock:D
