Academic Awards

it says u need to have the letter "a" displayed for every subject. BUt as far as i know, most if not all high/middle schools give out percentages. I dont know if i have won it quaterly.

I have:

88 in honnors geometry(realy a 96 cause 8 points get added for
being an honors class for your gpa)
88 in english
91 in history
97 in photography
94 in spanish
93 in Chemistry
96 in physical ed.

I got recognized with the High Honorroll award in our school for the quater. Wich is if your grade average is over 90%

A in English (Level 3)
A in Phys ed
A in Cisco Networking I (Level 3)
A in Spanish III (Level 3)
B+ in Biology (Level 4)
B+ in Algebra II/Trigonometry (Level 3)

I also wanted to know if things are weighted. Our school rates classes by levels 1-4. Level 1 is basically sped, level 2 is average, level 3 is advanced, and level 4 is honors. Also, as a sophomore I should be taking Geometry this year, but I am a year ahead in math so I am in Algebra II. Same with spanish, most sophomores take Spanish II. So technically my only 2 B+'s are in honors classes, so when it comes final GPA time they are weighted and worth more. My GPA was a 3.83 this quarter.

i am out too :( this sucks because i have almost all of my major classes honors or a grade higher. i take honers earth science, global, english, and 10th grade math, and liek someone said before honors grades are really like 6-8 points lower than what you would get in regular classes

Great Job everyone on your grades!!!

I will be accepting grade submissions until the actual drawing is conducted November 30th. The number of winners will be determined by the available prizes, and I hope to have something for everyone with Straight A's.

I am sorry to inform the few that had excellent report cards but didn't have striaght A's, that the rules state that you must have Straight A's to win an award.

Again, Great Job Everyone! If you came really close this time, there is always next quarter.

No, each quarter there are awards for student's with straight A's.

The larger year end awards are only for those who received straight A's all year.
