The stock light i ahve on my 300 is poop i need to get some bright lights for pretty cheap. Im thinking on getting some fog lightss from like advance auto or napa. BUt how many watts can my stator hold up to.

Well it should b able to hold 55watts, thats how much i have on my 400 and i had on my 250x. i mounted them on the shockmounts and it looks awesome.

The stock 300 stator is 100 watts. That doesn't mean you can use ALL 100 watts for lighting, though, typically up to 80%. So you can get a single 75W or 55W, or go with dual 35W. Most aftermarket light systems I've seen come in either pencil beam or flood, and they recommend one of each.


I've tried fog lights, and they didn't work well for me, but some people have had good luck with them. I'm now running two 35W from Trail Tech, and they work much better than the fog lights.

i dont wanna spend that 100 bucks or w/e it is if i do spend that much are they brighter than stock ones and are they worth the money.

I went down to Advanced auto parts and bought these fog lights that were for off road use only. They we chrome plated , and they are bright! I would suggest them , and they were $35. Ryan
