Aight, I'm getting a 400ex carb to put on my 330, and it has the choke taken off....i was thinking about running a 155 main, and 42 pilot...but everytime b4..i would need to use the choke...will the 42 pilot really help much for that? and is my jetting guessing somewhat correct?
Thanks- darrell

I run a 155 main and 42 pilot in my 440EX. I think that would be too rich.

Actually, now that I think of it, I don't know what I have for a main. I know I have a 42 pilot though. Maybe I have a 160 main?
Try the carb out with its current settings and do a jetting test and adjust as necesary. I posted good jetting guide in the Maintenance forum.

It comes w/a 148 Keihin main.
I run a Dynojet 146 main which is one step larger.
For your application I would start w/a 142 Keihin & work from there.
