What tire is best for sand and snow that will last a fairly long time

This should probably be in the dune forum. It depends on what you are looking to do and what kind of power you have. For hillshooting/dragging you can't go wrong with Skat Trak haulers or extreme haulers. If you want to cruise around trails more, V-blades like Skat Trak Edge, Geckos, or STU Sand Skate II's work good.
I have no problem riding trails with my haulers but some people think they don't turn well.

Depends on what kind of ridding you do, I thoink i want to try a V-blade, I can tell some difference between my straights, and the V's. But its personal preverance, Id say go with either Haulers, (i dunno how long they last), skates II or the new one from ITP, it dont look too shabby...:ermm:

Most paddle tires will get shredded in the snow if it's not very deep from rocks, roots, etc. You can get paddlemasters but they are heavy as hell.
How about getting paddle tires for the sand and studs for the snow?

we've got an early prototype of these from skat trak but havent rode em on anything yet. i was kinda wondering the same thing, they look like they'd suck at everything
