who's goin? i think its a d13 and maybe d7 race. i'll be there on a black z-400 #4, i'm hopin to race some d7 people!

in d13 there are only open/am and open/pro. is d7 the same? or do they have more classes?

District 7 MX has the following classes: Open A, Open B, Open C, and Vet.

I'll be there.. I know for sure it is a D-7 points race.... 3nd one of the season, so you'll get your chance to run some D-7 guys ;) What class are you runnin' 4strokin? Jerry, you outta come on out man!!

well, i run the open/am in d13 but i smoke everybody usually so maybe i might try the A class at budds, and is that a pro class or will i still be able to run the open/am class in d13?

I am not sure of what you are asking....they have open A, B and C....... smoking everyone? Oh...you'll have fun in "A" class :p

I've seen him ride JC and he's pretty good.

thanx jerry! and no i wasnt at birch cuz my fullbore plastics broke again! they are sending me another set and they are really good about keeping their customers happy! but i should be ready to run at budds so it should be fun! hopefully some real good racing!

Well JC my son has started racing dirtbikes so I have pretty much given up racing myself:( . But it makes it all worth it when I see him on the track:) .

We will be there on Sunday JC. if your there look for an xr50 with Woody graphics and the #55 thats my son. He will be racing the pee wee class.

I couldn't make the race but I like hearing how y'all did. Cletus, how did you and your bunch do at the harescramble? YLW400 how did you do at the MX? YLW400, when is the next quad race at Seaford? I would like to come down and practice some day soon. Do they have much practice prior to races? I would rather practice and race the same day but that probably isn't possible is it? I'd like to get into more MX next year and I was hoping to hook up and practice with a seasoned veteran! Have you went to Blue Diamond yet? The last time I was there they had added alot more MX to the Quad track. I trashed my exhaust and air box by not jumping far enough and landing either flat or on the up side of the next jump. UUUUGGGHHH! that hurts! There weren't any quads there jumping the doubles so I was a little reluctant on trying too hard. There were a couple of bikes there doing it but it looked to be too far for a quad. Especially, for a quad that is not really set up for it with a rider not really set up for it either! Maybe we can hook up soon! Later, Doug

btw. Not confirmed yet but Budds Creek will have their annual Hangover HS on Jan 1st 2004. any takers? hould be lotsa fun.

Hey 400exvet, Budds was good..There was alot of quads. I think we had 23 in C class. I did well I guess...Got the holeshot and led for about 1 1/2 laps, but a braking bump put me in my place quickly..lol Put me over the bars, bending my steering stem all to heck and pulling one of my stainless braided lines off of my master cyclinder....lol I was in 5th at this point, but worked back to 2nd only to get passed on the last lap for a 3rd overall finish......wasn't too bad considering the circumstances I guess.......As far as Seaford, they are open every Sunday for practice if they are not having a MAMA race......If you can find a MAMA MX schedule that will tell you when they are. I never had one, but just heard from word of mouth when there was a race so I knew not to go down that weekend. I am nto sure when the next D-7 race is going to be held there, I heard the D-7 schedule is going to be out next week though....I haven't been to Blue DIamond yet either. From what I hear they do let a few quads ride the MX track, but they say the jumps are insane...I will be trying to ride often as I can even through the winter months pending the ground isn't frozen. Drop me a PM if you wanna come to Seaford!!

budds creek was awesome, i raced on saturday and sunday and got sixth of 26 in the open/am on sat. and i got 4th of 11 in the B class on sunday, with a bent shifter all the way back because of one of the breaking bumps caught it. but overall it was a blast and the competition was great, and the track was rough especially cause we were one of the last motos to go off the line.

I didn't see you there Paul. JC it was nice meeting you. It's nice to put a face with a name. I didn't get to see much of the quad race but I did see JC pull a hell of a holeshot, Good job:) . Too bad you went over the bars cause you were riding pretty good. My son finished 11th out of 18 kids in the 50 class. he was in the top 10 untill he went down and lost a few spots but he still worked his way back up to 11th. Not bad for his 4th race ever. He keeps getting better and better everytime he goes out there:D .

hey #187 that was hell of a battel at the end of the race i went from dead last to 2nd place wit bent handle bars tie rods and steering steam from the day b4 but u guys down south are pretty quick may b some time ill get to race all of u at my home town track the good old southwick lol gald to have raced wit u all o ya 12 hour ride down there was worth it that track is sweet

yeah that was me bending down tryin to shift with my hand! i saw u #187 i was gonna say hi but i couldn't find where u were pitted at. there was alot of people and racers there i heard like around 900 and thats also why they went to a 1 moto format

Yea Jerry, that was cool. I was signing in and I was like...."That looks like Jerry"..lol I saw a picture of you on here a while back, thats how I knew. Thats cool about your boy! I wanted to watch him race but I wasn't sure what moto he was. Sounds like he is doing very well for his first year out! I thought I had 2nd wrapped up then I saw you, I Was like damn...lol I see your screenname is kandK440....Thats why you were killing me on those hills, that dag on 440...lol I know what you mean about bent steering stem, my handlebars were on my gas tank from my little rollover..lol Maybe one day I'll make it up to Southwick. What class do you normally run 440? A,B or C? I know one thing, that 5 laps is for the birds..lol I saw you shifting with your hand on the last turn right before the uphill. I was parked way out towards the front.. I was kinda near ATVMxRider

it was the last d13 mx race for the season, the race was fun, there was alot of people and it was windy and cold. in my first moto i was in the lead and walking away till i wadded it up. it sent me to the back of the pack of 11 and i worked my way to 3rd in a lap and a half. the second moto i got second so it gave me a second overall. and this was prolly the last race for me for the winter. and the d13 banquet is jan 19 in va beach if anyone was wondering.
