I know that the book has cylinder head nut -- 33 lbf-ft, but can I go a little more, How much more can I go??? Thank you for all your help.

No. Torque it to 33 ft/lbs like the manaual says to.

Torque it to what the manual says. If you go tighter you will pull the studs out of the cylinder.

yep, stay at 33 lbs

the only time you can ever go higher than the 33 lbs is when you get oversized studs put in. Then you can run a few lbs over. I think i am running 37 lbs of torque on mine

Follow the manual, those engineers are pretty smart.;) I like to torque stuff like that in two or three increments, increasing in torque on each pass until you reach the recommended value. It helps to ensure that everything goes down evenly and nothing gets warped.
