WHO HERE HAS THE WILDEST 400EX ENGINE? JUST HOW CRAZY DID U GO WITH UR ENGINE...SEND PICS...

After installing my muffler bearing I figured there's nothing else I could do to make it faster..:cool:

not the most xtreme, but mines got a gthunder 350 big bore (adds 80 cc's to a 300ex) gthunder full race port, high lift cam white brothers air filter and 400ex carb

dual rate elka's in the front with modded stock a-arms w/ removable ball joints, raptor rear shock w/ 400ex spring lsr plus 1 swingy

wow 493 is impressive.

i know mine is a 465 and i didnt think u could go bigger.

its making 52 horsepower and 50 lb of torque i think

WOW! That's an old thread!

My 400Ex is now a 505 w/41mm FCR carb, bigger cam, etc....

It has been a very reliable machine. The only thing I go through is cam chain tensioners!

not so reliable anymore lol this summer i had the motor freshened up to really get the most out of it for the season and i came out of turn two on the flattrack oval frame twist brought the inside front tire up off the ground and suddenely i got oil blowing all over my leg. so i went to my truck and killed her as soon as i got into the pits and the effing crank case had split open when the frame flexed. :eek2:

no internal damage. :ermm:

500 cc with the fst bore and stroke kit, custom piston, hotcam stg2,crf timing chain,modded bottom end gears for clearence,the head dont know where to start,has a billet intakecustom made with a complete radical portjob running ferra valves out of an acura car, intake ported for nitrous system, never put it on the 500,honda f4i clutch springs modded for the 500, rickey stator, custom made head pipe assy,and more im sure just forgot.
it is forsale any reasonable offer!

Thers a guy on here claiming he has 39hp with 62 torque and with NOS hes 60hp with 89 torque seems not possible! IMO but wouldn,t 89 torque just rip motor from frame .HA HA
