Anyone have any suggestions on how to adjust the preload on my rear Works shock. I have adjustable preload with a rezzy. It seems a little stiff in the back compared to my fronts. I'm not sure how much I should turn the preload ring. Should I start with like a half turn or full turn? Any help would be appreciated.

I set the bike on the stand and back off the preload till the ring is just putting tension on the shock. I start from there. Ususally I leave it there and dial in firmness witht the compression adjustment.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by the ring being the only thing putting tension on the shock. Is there anything special I should use to turn the ring with? It doesn't look like a spanner wrench will work. I don't think there's a compression adjustment on my shock. Thanks.

do you have the threaded preload or the standard ring thingy you move?
