well albinoism is hereditary. a condition that is more prevelant is known as "pie-bald". its where the animals pigments are both normal and have albino traits. i killed a deer a few years back thats almost completely white but isnt a true albino (pink eyes and nose)

We have a bunch of those albino squirrels here at the University of Louisville. But then again this campus is overrun with them. I counted 45 on my way to class the other day. If only i had a pellet gun, what fun i could have.:D

I've seen one, but my father-in-law's neighbor killed it during the first of squirrel season. I used to see an albino doe on my to KY between Logan and Williamson every time I went to Belfry to my step-dad/mom's house.

we had a true albino doe round here last year, havent seen yet this year though. you can see its bright red eyes from pretty far away.

my uncle shot a albino 3 point buck... only thing it dind't have pink eyes it had baby blue... besdies that it was 100% white and pink nose, feet, and everything else...

i've seen albino squirrels on my back porch but my mom would give me the beating of my life if there was any red on them:(

we've been watching a pie-bald buck in my in-laws back yard for the last 4 years. last year he was a 8 point. this year hes got 12! they claim that they come from bad genetics(sp) and should be taken out of the herd, but since it takes both the doe and buck to have the pie-bald genes to produce a pie-bald fawn, we keep him around. he was within 40 yards this weekend of my stand and i let him go. i'm already second guessing myself, i think he'd make a great full-body mount.

We've got a white deer on our property at Tappan Lake. Nobody is allowed to hunt that one. It's completely white but still has a dark nose and dark eyes.
