Move along people, there's nothing to see here. It's a scam. Do we really need 50 posts saying "SCAM"? We know its a scam, give it a rest.

What the hell is going on with all these scams on ebay now? I remember not even a year ago there was never any scams on ebay, is this a new trend or something? It's so obvious now...something good that is cheap = a scam. I don't even bother looking at such things as a new YFZ for $3,500

Yeah, they haven't even set a price for the 450R, have they? This guy has it for, buy it now for $3,000?? :eek2: I know these have to be scams, but I'm going to contact ebay, as I've bought a lot of stuff on there. These sellers all have good ratings... A YFZ450 for $3500?? I'll take two! And they all have free shipping... If anyone on here has been brave enough to send money to them, I hope they let us know how the transaction went.

Not everyone lives their lives on exriders.com. Give the people a break who post the scams they're just trying to help other people out.

I think it's great that people post questionable e-bay sales. The more attention these scamers get the better! I would like to see them get more of the right kind of attention (law enforcement). I just don't want anybody getting burned by these guys.

I dont think its a scam the guy has over 180+ feedbacks...

If you are referring to my comment, I didn't mean for people not to post links to scams. What I meant was we don't need 50 people trying to rack their post count up to reply to this thread with 1 word answers saying "SCAM!!".

And about the feedback. It is probably a stolen E-Bay account. That means the scammer hacked into someones legit E-Bay account (with 180 postive feedbacks), and is using it to scam people.

I got this information off another forum but gives a very good explanation as to how these people are pulling these scams off.

"...The give away is the header across the top that says the auction is open to pre-approved buyers only. DO NOT click on the link that says to email seller to get put on the list. It will ask you to sign in again and re-enter your ebay password. They'll have your ebay password and next thing you know you will be selling harley's or mowers, or maybe even something else. If you have a personal firewall you will notice once you open the auction it will start running a "malicious script." Ebay is aware of this, but can't seem to do anything about it right now. If you have e-mailed the seller through that header, do youself a favor and change your e-bay password."

There it is guys, be careful.
