Do you think my kx 125 will out run a stock cannibal...?? How much could i out run one or could it out run me by?

Ok what do you mean "out run it"? Both of you 5th tapped? 100 yard drag race? 5 laps around a track?

In a 300 foot drag...and my bike has six gears by the way

Probably about even. My CR is just about even or a little quicker with my 440EX in a 300 ft pavement drag.

Twin Air Filter, Pro Circuit Pipe and 304 Factory Sound silencer, Primary Drive sprockets (stock ratio), RK X-Ring chain, Michelin Starcross 110/90-19 rear, Bridgestone M52 80/120-21 front, Wiseco Pro-Lite piston kit with less than 5 hours on it, Boyesen reeds, Pro Taper bars w/ Renthal half waffle grips, possibly porting/poluishing (bought the bike used with little history, have some clues pointing to this work done, but I am not positive), Factory Connection valving/springs, RK clutch plates/springs.

I think thats it. Its got all new plastics/graphics/seat/cables/brake pads but that doesn't affect performance at all. Not to mention I just cleaned the carb about 2 (running) hours ago, and the bike is jetted perfectly. I clean the filter every ride and change the tranny oil every 3 running hours.

The 440EX has an 11:1 (approx, running 2 head gaskets) Wiseco bore kit, WB 10.5K rev box/CDI, 20" Holeshot XCs out back, FMF Powercore IV, K&N Filter w/ 8-10 1" airbox holes.

And again, I have that machine running in tip top shape, jetting, clean carb, etc.

This weekend I'll get my dad to race me again because I have a feeling the bike is a little quicker.

It will be close..i give it to the cdale tho...i beat my friends yz125 in a drag once and he won once..but i was catching back up too..
hes got reeds and a pipe...im on a stock pred.

well the boy on the yz 125 must not be able to ride because i can beat a pred easy. I have done it may times at a local drag racing place...And all the ones i race are well modded too...

Funny that this was posted.......

The day I tried out my Cannibal, the guy I bought it from (ScooterX) raced my ex bf who has a KX125......

They raced like going for the holeshot... and they switched places and everything to see if different spots would give advantage or not...... they were dead even.....each time....both riders were about the same level experience..... VERY close race..... I even have videos of it somewhere around here.....

Now the Cannibal... has the moto mapping....so it probably will outrun a KX125 for the holeshot now

youll take him cuase i can put it on a stock raptor in a 100yrd dash, on gravel, dirt asphalt, anything, that is if you know how to ride your bike well

My money's on the cannondale. I used to outrun a pimp daddy CR125 with my mildly tuned polaris sport 400L. The guy raced MX and was a good rider.. He thought i had NOS on it.....:o We rode together several times and in the end i'd walk away from him on topend....:D

No, hes not a bad rider...the pred is faster than a 125 bike...along with the yz there was a crf250 in the race too..i beat him...but he was closer than the yz.

i'd put money on the cannidale because i dayum near beat a 98 kx125 w/ my 300.....i had the holeshot, and he came back about half way down the strip and beat me

My buddy has a 01 KX125 with pro circuit pipe, and a few other things and my brother was riding his 400ex with FCR39MM and sparks exhaust and the 400ex pulled every time. THen the kx125 rider got on the quad and couldnt believe how much it was pulling. Just my .02.
