I have run haulers, sand skate, sand skate2, and sand sharks........I have the sharks for this dune season.......while they aren't near as good as skate 2's, they have plenty of bite and should last a couple seasons in the sand if not run on pavement at all......my skate 2's i would smoke them on the pavement and they still lasted 2 seasons. .........at $32.00 each for sharks, and $89.00 each for the skates....the sharks are a far better value......the only other thing is that the sharks are a little heavier.

I have a set of sand sharks.....there my first sand tires...and i know from going from the stock tires to the sand sharks made a tremendos difference! especially in turning and i do alot of trailing riding so thats a plus to me! also i have ridden across alot of pavement and rocks(gravel) to get to the dunes and they dont seem to be showing any wear....i like em

My gf's brother has them on his Blaster, I think they are pretty sweet. They look cool as hell too!

Trail riding in the sand is what these tires were primarly made for. Like the Geckos, they were not made to drag race.

I have a pair that I ran all last year on the dunes..I love them..I never ran them on payment or anything and they are kind of heavy, but even after a whole season of riding my still show no wear..I could almost sell them for new...My friend has a set of sand skate 2's and these that I have are almost identical..They are a good investment..Good luck with em..

I also have a set of sand sharks on my z. This is the first set of paddles I have owned. I ran them at silver lake and didn't have any problems. I also ran them in a couple of mud drags and they worked real well. Took a first and a third. ( the 3rd they made us start in the mud) Although I'd like to try some terrain traks or desert storms these look good and I bet would kick ***** in the mud.

For a modded quad, like a 426 with all the goodies the haulers should be the fastest of all those tires

Pnut. What i noticed at sand mountain is most of the fourstroke quads were running haulers. I bought a new pair of sand stars before I left. They are allot like the sand sharks. Ya they hook up real well. I think to well. One guy in our group on a KFX had a brand new pair of sand skate II he pulled them off to go with the haulers. To tall of tread. I guess it depends what you want them for. I took a knife to mine. Trimmed the paddles half off. It made a big difference with power. My next pair will be a pair of gliders or haulers. I really liked the gliders. Did not rob as much power. Not drag racing in a staright flat line. We were dragging straight up the face. :D

Yeah my buddy has haulers and for 100 yard flat sand drags they are quick, I like that it doesnt have to much bite off the line to keep the wheel spin, then hooks up good after the launch. The haulers are said to be more of a 2 sroke tire, but with the stage 2 cam and FCR, his quad revs nice. I might go ahead and get the gliders myself, little more tread for all around riding as well. I have a set of paddle masters (paddle scoopers), I hate them, but you can stop on any hill in the sand and floor it and get out, even if you start with the wheels dug in. People were getting stuck at comp hill cuase they put the brakes on at the top and I would just park mine, help them get out and romp it out of there, I also cant wait to try them in the snow. I like my brothers sand sharks for just riding in the dunes, the haulers kinda suck for that, and when I jump big, I like to put my stock tires on.
