after a good long hard ride yesterday i grabbed the lines going into and out of my cooler. the in line was very hot to the touch, could only touch it for part of a second. i could grab and hold onto the line coming out of the cooler. i was amazed at how much cooler the line was coming out. just a little proof that they do make a big difference in oil cooling.

Are you talking about one of the 4 stroke tech coolers?

nope. i bought the stuff from Jegs. when i open the cooler package that Jegs sells as a powersteering cooler, a little paper inside said "congradulations on buying you new atv oil cooler". everything cost $128.

How does that kit go on to the motor? Do you have to buy anything else?

Vegas,

I did the same thing to mine when out at Glamis this past weekend. Line was very hot, but motor was even hotter.

that is the exact cooler i got. the ebay ad one has brass fittings, rubber hose and hose clamps. i got anodized fittings and steel baided lines. that ad isnt very old and it starts at $99. i chose to spend a bit more and get a look that cant be beaten. boy with my powder coated case covers, it looks like a completly different bike.

call jegs and ask for a free magazine, which is how i got the idea.
