Well, i had a slight crash today....lol and i kinda bent my steering stem, is it safe to have it pressed so its straight? also how much is a new stock one? also, what is a good set of handle bars to get for it?

its a '02 Honda 400ex

You should be able to press it somewhat straight we have done it to a couple, if not the stock stems are around $55 as for handle bars I run the tag t2 bars, I like the tagx5 and renthal bars also.

If you have the money I would look at a Anti-Vibe stem. I think mine made a huge difference. I really like my Arens stem. Plus it's a bit taller then stock and for me feels better when I'm riding.

Is 55 dollars through C&D Racing or from a honda dealer? and also who makes the t2 handle bars?

t2 handlebars are made by Tag, they're awesome bars, you'll need the adapter clamp for them to fit on a stock stem because these bars are fatter at the mount

heres my lonestar antivibe stem w/ tag t2 bars...a good setup

I have had to heat my stem up twice now with a torch to bend it back....I ordered my new on from servicehonda.com and it was about $48....It has been about a week and a half now and still no stem......and I have a feeling the one I have is eaither gonna bend when I land hard, or its gonna snap:eek:

service honda can take a while sometime but i think the deals are worth it if you're not in a rush

I bent mine on Friday and i took it all apart last night. Ordered the stem on friday tho too. from www.servicehonda.com it was $53.00 shipped i should have it this week sometime ( I hope ). And I have TAG X-5 Handlebars and i love em'. I bent them on friday too...Im gunna see about straightening them with the cross bar though. We'll see how it works i guess.
