400ex rear shock on a 300ex?

If i buy a 400ex elka would it have more travel than a 300ex elka?

The 400ex shock wont fit because of the location of the rezzy, it might be too long too. A 01' Raptor rear shock will fit right on a 300ex tho.

That too! The 400ex shock is probably a good amount longer.

for a raptor shock to work on a 300 dont u need the 400ex spring to lower it or whatever?

400ex rear suspension is link, 300ex is no link.....the shocks wont come close with the lower mounts
