View Full Version : Quick! WB E-Series Slip on or Megamax w/powerbomb pipe? Same $$

For the same dollars I can get a used White brother e-series slip on or a FMF Megamax with the powerbomb pipe. What do you think?????

go with the megamax w/powerbomb header. there will be a noticible difference in power between a full system and just slip on. the slip on will only make it sound cool.

i'd never buy a slip on exhaust. I mean, a full system is just so much better in my mind.

Thanks, I was leaning towards the Megamax/powerbomb but I just hear so many good things about the WB.

Unless you've got some internal motor mods a full exhaust is really a waste of money. A friend of mine had the MegaMaxII on his 400EX and it was disappointing.

I had a Megamax II on my quad when I bought it. I switched to an E-series and it made a big difference, so all slip-ons are definatley not the same. I highly suggest the e-series. A powerbomb header isn't going to do much with a crappy pipe. What are you paying? My e-series is going up for sale after Dec 7th.

FMF Megamax w/powerbomb and k&n filter/outerwear $150

That's a great deal on an e-series if it's in good shape, you should jump on it.

OK, I went against popular opinion and got the Megamax and Powerbomb with the K&N and outerwear. I needed a K&N anyway and they run $56 so if I don't like the MegaMax I can sell it on ebay and buy the WB and still be in it pretty cheap(like JOEX said). I am thinking I might just buy both and do that anyway.
