What quad should i get?

Hey yall,

What quad should i get i am 14 almost 15 and i am 5' 3" and bout 100lbs. Should i get a 400ex and leave it stalk or a 300ex and mod it up. I want Reverse. Ive rode 300's ans 400's i like the 300's a little better cuz the 400's are too big. Soooooo???
you guys tell me what you think.:)

go with the 400ex thats what im doing. i traded in my recon and were picking up the 400 friday.:devil: in another couple years youll be wanting to upgrade from the 300 cuz youll feel youve outgrown its power. just go right to a 400. IMO.

i'm gonna have to disagree....i'm about your same size, but alittle bit larger:blah: lol i'm 5'4'' and 140 and i ride a 300 and i know right now i can't use it to its capiblilities. i say go with the 300 and as you feel you have mastered it stock, start modding

i would go with the 300 sence you would mod it up and you like reverse

I'd sugjest a 400ex because after i got use to it its feels slow and its a 400ex:eek2:

well is your 250 fast? the 300 isnt that much faster than the 250, so i would suggest the 400, you will like it soooo much better, now if you have to get reverse, just wait till you find a decent kfx400 or z400

dude ru serious a recon is no where close to a 300ex.

ok a 250 ex i was mistaken. its still not any where as fast a 300ex:o

if you are doing tight wood riding then get a 300. The 300 is a great woods bike. so is the 400 just lacks the reverse. if u ride in open riding areas with wide trails then the 400 would be better.

ive got a 2002 300 ex for sale. Mods already done to it. Pipe, ac bumper and grab bar, hand guards razr tires. Great bike for 3800 if interested. About 20 hrs on bike.

i decided to keep my 300 and mod it. I dont really see the difference in getting a 400 or a 300...both really great bikes
