The track you are talking about is Eastern Carolina MX park. It is on Hwy 581 outside of Kenly. MX East is in Archers Lodge, NC which is probably the same distance from Smithfield, but in the other direction. MX East is a better MX track for quads in my opinion. There will be a group of us at MX East this Saturday for those interested. I can't ride since I had shoulder surgery Tuesday, but will be there to watch.

I'm rather new to the Charlotte (Huntersville actually) area and looking for someone to ride with. Haven't ridden since leaving Wichita in August. Getting antsy. I heard Brushy Mtn was close and great trails, but I hate riding alone, just in case of an accident. I don't ride beyond my means and my 2001 300 EX isn't a rocket by any means. Having problems with the aftermarket exhaust pipe and the head pipe not mating together correctly. Seems the contact points are just a bit short and an exhaust leak is evident at the connection point. Email me back as to your riding locations so I can become more familiar with riding areas in NC.
