yea when i ride wheelies and stuff my gas cap leaks its a metal cap so iwas wondering if i need a whole new gas tank with plastic cap and plastic threads or what

probably just new cap or the rubber piece in it, they want 35.44 for new cap from honda

Check out serivicehonda.com, they seem to be a lot cheaper.

are you sure its not leaking out of the vent?

how can i tell if its leaking out of the vent lol im not the best in maintance on these things i dont kno like i said when i ride wheeleis it just leaks out of the cap

look around the top of gas cap, if its wet around where vent is then its the vent, if it is around the the sides its the gas cap. You turn your gas off and blow through the breater tube on top and listen for leaks. any leaks, and its new gas cap time
