alright heres my motor mods i got a ingnition advace, lrd pipe, and a K&N it has a bunch of low end am am looking to get read of some and add the mnid and top so i am thinking since i dont want to tare down the mtor yet, i could get a carb.

I want to gain on mid and top, and keep low end the same or if i have to loose a very little, so i was thinking a fcr 39mm kit, but what is best for my application?

lectron? fcr? edelbrock?

thanks.

I would run the 39 FCR  I dont know if it will fit with the 5.5 gallon tank though.

Try a 16 tooth front sprocket, it will give you some of the mid-top end you are looking for.

I love mine---You just have to grind down the case saver about an eighth of an inch or so .

They all have there quirks.

The lectrons have been known to stick.
The edelbrocks are easier to set up, but the throttle is stiffer.
I think the fcr's are the best once you get them set up and they have a light throttle.
