I bought the midrange kit from ct racin which is the 11:1 440 kit, a stage II webcam, headwork, exhaust and other little stuff. The guy at ct racing, Allen Knowles, said not to buy the 41 FCR carb with my kit. He said the jetting actually gave mine better dyno numbers...so i put the engine back together and then put a 170 jet in..i messed around with the other jets and the 170 "works the best." The piston rings are already set now and i've ridden the new engine at jack frost and chadsworth at least 7 times. The low end is non existent...if im in the trails in 1st gear running at 6000 rpm and shift the engine will bog out and eventually stall...on the track it whips unbelievably but i will do a hill climb pinned in 2nd gear revving high (8700 rpm) and it will bog out...it almost stalled on a big hill, and i downshifted and it still bogged in first!!!!Should i go with the 38 or 39 fcr carbs???What should i do? Im a mechanic and i cant figure this out...i messed with the screw, the needle...what should i do nothing works...help me!!!!
