R vs R Which should i get???

Hey, Im going to get another quad. I need some help on which quad i should get, its between a new 450r or a lrd 265r(no aftermarket frame though just engine kits). Please note that if i get the 450r i would run out of money so no aftermarket stuff until 2005 maybe tires though.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Wait until you get a chance to throw a leg over the 450 until you decide.

I would buy the 250R if you plan on racing it. The 450 will be a great quad but it will take a lot of cash to buy and upgrade. Right now R parts are really cheap so I would say buy an R.Wait a couple years and then get a used 450.

I would get an R, its cheaper in the long run. I was debating whether or not to mod out my 400ex even more or buy an R. Luckily I made the right decision. Now I just have to get some cash for aftermarket suspension and a-arms then the R will be finished. I hate riding stock quads too.

I was in the same situation,so I bought two Rs one 86 and one 89 they both still have the original handle grips on them and I am still 2000.00 ahead of one new quad out the door!
