I found this at another site....He was riding it this past weekend..

We had the new 450r at camp with us this weekend in glamis and it looks quick, but the guy that had it said that the YFZ took him all day long! These were all professional baja racers that were riding the YFZ and the honda so you cant use the excuse of saying it must have beeen the rider! LOL The cool thing about the Honda is that it is kick start.

Another guy has rode it also w/ Ellis and Farr in Ohio. He had pictures to back it up.. He said first gear was a bit tall for woods and just mumbled on about whats inside the motor. He said it handles awsome, like we wouldn't know that. Anyway I like what the guy at Glamis said as he is an unbiased Banshee hillshooter and could CARELESS about any type of four stroke.. Honda guys will favor the Honda over the YFZ and vice versa.. Besides the article I pasted was from the baja racers.

So you're in denial. See that's why brand loyalty is stupid.!!! Don't bash me, I don't ride a YFZ or will ever own a CRF.. Believe what you want then. This topic is a FYI only... I could careless about Yamaha or Honda.. My first bike I owned in 1980 was a Suzuki and have owned 37 rides in my 21 yrs of riding of every brand name.. I have owned about 7 Honda's..

Here's the pic Sandgod is talking about. I saw it a little while ago myself on another forum.

Take a look at some of the current magazines, there's several aftermarket companies with pics of the new R in their ads. It's not out of the question that there are some of these pre-production bikes around out there.
