i took the wheels off the front of my 300ex, and i saw a black piece of metal with holes in it..so i took it off and spray painted it "chrome" and it really looks trick..check it out-

yea, i was gonna take it off, but then i thought that maybe it would rust where there isnt paint on the hubs, so i just painted it....but i want to paint my rims black and leave the "lip" of the rim regular, and i think it will look even tricker with it being right behind the black rims

when i powdercoated my 300ex i did mine the same color as my frame

It looks like the brake rotor mud guards that come stock on Yamaha quads to me....:confused:

Guys just take those things off. You know if you sand blast the stock hubs they will look really close to after market ones, that is another cheap way to make the front wheels look trick.

yea...looks exaclty like the mud guards on my 'shee....nothing fancy....took me awhile to figure out what you're talking about, i thought you meant the mud guards, but i didn't know that they didn't come like that stock....

looks okay i guess anyway?
