Two big pipe wrenches is fine definitly if nuts never been off. You need to just crack the jam(thin nut) loose then back up tour big nut enough to pull the snap ring out and your axles free.

Yeah losen the back nut the one closes to the swingarm into the brake rotor or close to it. Then losen the lock nut opposite threads so act like your tightening it to losen it twards the caliper. Next just there will be a little c-clip where you lock nut was placed over. Take off the c-clip then take the lock nut off OPOSITE THREADS!!!!!!!! Also make sure someones holding down the rear brake claiper soo it doesnot turn over your motor.

we ended up using a torch pipe wrench and a hammer......and we still ended up breaking it couse it was so tight....but all you should need is 2 pipe wrenches i believe

And big 600 mm wrench and a pipe wrench. If you are running into the problem of getting only so far with the locknut you didnt take off the metal slip gasket. Take that off and everything should come off easy. And use a can of PB Blaster or WD40.

They are left handed threads....also, buy an aftermarket locking nut from C&D...that stock thing will never stay tight again...
