1993 300ex starter key, missing

i bought this used 300ex 1993, the start key assembly is missing, the guy has a wire rigged between the solinod to get it to start. what is an easy and good looking way to mount a cool type of switch or button to get this to start.

take the 2 wires that the key asslembly plugs into and plug the 2 wires into each other..then u can just use the start button as normal..but make sure no one steals it

I dont even have a start button, where is that suppose to be located? where is the key suppose to be located?

OH! You're not just missing the key, you're also missing the starter button! That changes things a little bit.

The key doesn't start the quad, the key is just a switch that turns the quad on or off. The quad is supposed to have a separate starter button located on the headlight switch, along with the kill switch.

My reccomendation is look on Ebay for a headlight/kill switch. Look for headlight switch, or possibly for wiring harness. If you can't find one, you can order one from www.servicehonda.com (http://www.servicehonda.com/hard%20parts/hard_parts.htm) although it will be expensive.

You're local shop can probably tell you how to connect it if you can't figure it out on your own.
