tag t2 question?

i have a 2000 300ex and i was wonderin if the tag t2 bars w/ the universal mount would fit on my stock steering stem?

my friend has the t2's on his 300 with a stock steering stem. but i think he used the trailtech clamp cuz o his lights. but wh wouldnt it work?

cause the bar clamp for the t2 has 2 holes on each clamp to hold the clamp to the steering stem and on the stock clamp theres only one hole
