John Deere's are the best. We have two of those, a 200 hp Ford (piece of sh*t), and a 1958 Massy . New Holland does make the best balers.

Massey's are the way to go. We have three masseys all have hardly any problems. New Holland makes a POS tractor. Bought a 2001 NH TL90 76 hp had a ton of problems. Traded it in at 500 hrs when the synchros went out of the transmission. Got a 2002 NH TS110 it has about 650 hrs and has had a ton of problems also. Still have it though. Thank God for warranty work.

Like said in the above post, Massey is the only way to go. We're still on our first one, 3000 hours and still running strong.

I've got a 1982 Bolens ST120 lawn tractor for the grass. At the farm we have a 1949 Farmall Cub that we mow with, we had a 1947 Ford 8N but we sold it and now have a late 50's Allis Chalmers D17 trike.

We have a John Deere riding mower for the lawn. Why spend money on an expensive John Deere when all of the Massey's we own have more than 5000 hrs and run perfect. One has 9250 hrs with no engine or transmission rebuild and we can still start it on a 32 degree day with no ether or block heater. Also have a 2 Farmall Cubs, a Super A, and a 140 tractor. Also a Kubota, Allis Chalmers (old with a sickle mower), and some Oliver's (5 550's)

my dads work had a kaboda and a John Deere, i personally liked the kaboda better. It got stolen though. They sold the john deere and ended up deciding they still needed one, then bought a kiyodie ( sp obviously, just like the wild dog thing ) and its the biggest POS i have ever used:o

When i worked for my uncles they had a jown deere's. They a had a 2520, 3020 with the narrow frontend, a 4030, two 4240's, and a 4440. They got a few newer ones since then and got rid of the 4240's.

Both our John Deeres are the 6320's. Both have the 640 front end loaders on them. When haying season comes and I'm in the tractor 24/7, then I always try and run one of the Deeres.

Do you know why John Deere s are Green????????????

So they can hide in the weeds when the big red ones go by.

I have a 1948 Farmall Cub ,and I'm looking for a cub 184 or 154.

I got a handmedown Gravely from my paps. It was used by the state for years, then he rebuilt it and has had it at his house for like 20 years. He just gave it to me ;) It's nice, Kohlar(sp) motor with a cast iron cylinder, ball main bearings too.. The engine sits in the back so it has good traction for plowing as well.

caterpillar challengers are actually feild tractors just we like to use them for pans for there power and traction capabilities. The rubber tracks work better than jd's even dream of and cats last forever!;)
