you will probably beat him pipe vs stock, but not by far

and pipe against pipe as long as he doesnt get some POS cobra or DG you still may beat him, but it will only be by like 1 length

WELL my son has a blaster (mods below) & I have a 300(mods below) & it's about the rider IMO we race each other all the time & I get him off the line every time, I win too but he's geared for flattrack now so it's hard to tell but since I got my new piston/bore job he's easier too beat hehehe, he keeps up or if he's in front holds off his cousin on his 310r also so it just depends!!

BTW he raced his buddy this summer who had a 03" blaster & his buddy beat him in the drag race becuz of the gearing, cuz my son who get the starts but by the time he was in 6th his buddy was in like 4th:eek2:

blaster takes the cake against a 300 stock for stock. even with a 300 with a fmf pipe. your blaster will smoke him like a philly blunt with the mods you have.:macho

The blaster will be faster on top end by a little. The 300ex will have more low end power. When i had my blaster which was stock, i could outrun my friends piped 300ex but it was close.

i matched up my 300 with mods below except shocks, plastic, 14t sprocket, and razrs against my friends blaster with a pro-circuit full system and twin air airfilter, we were even off the line but then i smoked him

It will depend on who's the better dragracer but anywhere else and the Honda will perform far better.

It will depend a lot on your riding conditions, at Bull Gap (a big hill climb fun to race to the top) the 300ex's win purely because of the 4 stroke torque. In the woods a 300ex will put in a better effort because of better shocks and chasis. A 300ex will put a hurt on a warrior if ridden right. In a drag race the blaster will edge out the 300 because of a little more top speed that 6th gear helps. Either way have fun because I like both of em.

In a drag t would be close, but on a track the 300 woul eat the blaster alive because of the suspension difference.

If your racing woods or an mx track its all the rider. If its just a drag race skill won't come into play as much,Itd be close.

Flat out, the blaster will out-run it. But up a hill or short distance drags the 300 is quicker. I have pics of cleanschave's 300ex beating a blaster up bull gap by about 3 to 4 quads.

Blasters will come alive with different reeds, pipe, airfilter ect. They are both nice trail riding machines though.

you better have some good shocks on that blaster for it to be a good trail riding machine. If not you will have a broken back by the time the day is over. Trust me I used to own a blaster. It was not fun to ride on rough terrain

True. It's like put it 3 feet in the air, then they hit the ground and and bounce 2 feet back up. Not to make anyone mad but a blaster is a piece for sure.

 BLASTERS ARE NOT PIECES OF CHIT!!!! J/P

But I do get tired of people saying that constantly.....we have one we paid $500 for in a box & it went out last weekend & spanked some pretty, chromed up, $$ pit blasters:D  Our's does damn good w/ all kinds of quads my son really gets it singing w/ the 250r's & 400ex;s on the track:eek2: But to each his/her own I know!!

They have LOTS of potential for such a POS though ok I'll get down off my lil' box now sorry
