I heard that if you bore your 300ex out to be a 330 then you will be able to beat a stock 400ex. is this true?

how much fast will the 330 make you go?

what else should i put in to make my bike run almost flawless?

any recommendations on where to get a 330 from?

I'd call TC Racing or Curtis Sparks. These were the guys that built ALOT of those motors for Pro Am 4 stroke racing back in the day before the 400ex came on the scene.:cool:

100MPH:eek: But seriously it all dependes on your gearing you could go any where from 50- 70MPH maby more if your gearing is high enough and the motor has the power to push your gearing.

Pipe, filter, jet kit, port polish, cam, valve springs, better carb
and shocks ( wont make you go faster in a drag race but it will in the trails and track.

If you plan on puting it in your self, find a place that was the best price because all the kit a basicly the same.

I have a pipe, air filter, shocks, i will probably need a bigger header but HMF doesn't make 300ex header, does anybody know another company that makes bigger then stock headers that will fit nicely with my slip on?

besides the pipe, filter, and shocks what would be the estimated cost?

well i would defenatly go with PROFAB for a 330..just call me up, and Scott will tell you everything about them!! and my local Napa Auto parts store, put my 330 in for 125 bucks:D . ProFab makes a pump gas kit that doesnt require race gas, or an oil cooler...but im getting Tinners scoops just to be on the safe side. You need a Cam, Hardend rocker arms, HD valve springs, and u might want to get some HD clutch springs also.

pretty sure whitebrothers header will fit.

also i think profab makes nice 330kits.

how much do they cost?

on their website they only have a 310 national kit listed

if this 330 is worth it i could drive it to them to save on shipping

For your pipe don't get a head pipe get a complete cause it's bigger then just a head pipe and slip on combo

shocks ( wont make you go faster in a drag race but it will in the trails and track.

shocks will make you go faster in a drag race if set up right by giving you less slip.
