What else would you guys recommend checking in there? I know I should replace all the gaskets between the jug and the motor and head and valves, but are there any other gaskets I should replace? Any tips on putting it all back together? Thanks in advanve guys!

get a shop manual to help ya. Clymer manuals are only $30. They're deffinatly worth it. Also, just a thought, but since you're gonna have it all apart, why not put in a stock bore high-compression piston? A complete kit would probably be about $130 with everything included. If you stay under 11-1 compression, you can just run it on 93 octane too. I'm not trying to wipe all your money out, but an xr400 cam runs about the same as the piston, and you're gonna have to take the top end all apart anyways.
