my friend just put a new new top end on his Rm 125 how long should he brake it in for before he starts rompin on it.

it shouldn't take too long. i have read too many times that an easy break in is not good for the rings. i wouldn't be revving it out fully until you get an hour or two on it. i would also change the oil after 20 miles of riding.

i have always taken it easy for an hour or so, and then like cals400ex said, i rev it some. Its all opinions on what to do. Some people are easy on them, some are moderately hard, and some are freekin WFO from the get go. I was moderatly hard on it when i broke mine in.
