Honda service manual needs to be the first tool you get out. If you don't have one, leave the other tools were there at till ya get one,..

Credit card.....:p

Metric sockets and wrenches(I prefer T handles) sizes 8-17mm. Feeler gauge, torque wrench, needle nose pliars, gasket scraper(use a flathead screwdriver and be shot :grr: ), hair dryer, colorfull language, assortment of screwdrivers, ect, ect, ect,...

That will work fine as long as you can get on all the bolts with it. The size of drive doesn't matter.

Also, be carefull when you torque the valve cover bolts. Those things like to break. Make sure that your torque wrench can go down to about 12ft-lbs.

just a word of cation using the clymer manuals. When rebuilding my 440, i followed the tourque specks and broke three valve cover volts...:grr: ...the clymer manual had said to tourque them to 17 FT LBS:confused: anyway..i dont trust them anymore:o

Do you know the difference between an impact wrench and a torque wrench? The only reason I say this is because I don't see very many 3/4 inch torque wrenchs.

another handy tool is the piston ring compressor. allows you to slide the cylinder on easy

You can make a ring compressor out of a few hose clamps. Make sure you buy some assembly lube as well. Torque wrench is a must, and get one of those "screw down" ones where you set the torque and it clicks at that. The needle/gauge ones are nice, but its hard to tighten a bolt down while looking at the guage and trying to get it exact.

you'll need a screw driver, wrenches, tourqe wrench, ring compressor, and maybe a couple more but thats pretty much it. you'll also need to get the sleeve bored out at a machine shop.
