wheres the ari fuel mixture on the carburator for the 400ex

Can some one take a pic and circle it for me? I dont no where it is and I dont wanna start playing with **** with my carburator

Sorry, no pic...

It is in front of the bowl on the underside if the carb. There is a metal tube like part of the carb that sticks down right next to the plate that holds the idle screw, it is inside of that 'tube'. It is easier to see from the right side of the quad.

ok now turning the air fuel mixure to the left is making it rich and turning it to the right is leaning it out correct?

Screwing it in (clockwise) leans it. Screwing it out (counterclockwise) richens it.

check this thread out. here is the stock carb. get familiar with this as jetting can make or break the performance of your bike. good luck
