Spark Plug question

Does anyone else have any problems with seating their plug by hand? I have a new quad and a buddy told me it was normal to have some resistance when seating a plug.

Does anyone use anything special to lube the threads of the plug?

I really dont think that it could be cross threaded (unless honda themselves did it) because it was hard going in since day 1.

It sould'nt be hard but the treads might just be dirty.

You could always try to re tap the treads it would tell you if it's cross treads or just dirty. The only thing is dat you would have to take the head off so nothing fals in the engine.
