I was thinking about getting my wheels, nerfbars and my front bumper powder coated black... Doy ou all think this will look good?... I am tired of polishing and trying to keep it looking ood and then it getting scratched up on the first time back on the trail... It's not worth the time to polish after each ride... Also my buddy is going to do all those parts for 50 bucks!!! I think thats a good price do you all???

Thats a pretty good price. I did a bumper for my buddy and i think it matches the a-arms and stuff pretty good. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid87/p6657c3a63c89cd87c1f1dcf43e1f9deb/faa59946.jpg

Do you have any pictures??? I was thinking just black b\c eventually I am going to powdercoat my frame black and get black plastics... It will eventually be all blacked out... But the motor will be shinny... Do you happen to have any pics of chrome powder coating... That sounds pretty cool..

If I were you, I wouldn't powdercoat the frame. Powdercoat is so tough that it doesn't show stress cracks. On a painted frame, the paint will chip away to show the crack. Powdercoat will just hide it until the frame completely breaks.

i saw a crack in my frame when it was powder coated
painting is the lesser quailty, cheap way out. do it right so you dont do it for a while. get it pc'ed

sorry but that just isnt the case. a hair line crack will be hard to detect whether its painted or powdercoated. our z400 frame as a 3 layer powder and when it cracks they are easily found.
