ok I am a noob, so dont flame me if I sound like a tard.
ok I got an extra pair of hella commet FF 100 and I was wondering what I would have to do if I rigged them to put on my quad, I have seen people with lazer stars on them so I was thinking of putting those hellas on my quad, is it possible? if so, what would I have to do??

Your biggest problem is gonna be the output of your stator, which is 147 watts. Those lights probably pull somewheres in the neighborhood of 100w each. Your stock lights pull 35w each. So you're not gonna have enough juice to power them to their requirements and you'll drain your battery in the process.

o i c, well how do those people run those gigantic lights on those baja quads, like those big ugly round lights like you would see on a 250R (baja style)

They've got cutomed wound stators that put out nearly double what a stock stator does. The down side is they have a tendency to fail prematurely. Some of them that you are seeing now are HID (High Intensity Discharge) lights that only require about what stock lights do to run the ballasts that power them. They're the hot setup if you have an extra $600 - $1000 laying around.:D

if you want to run some aftermarket lights like those Hella's, your best bet is to contact Ricy Stator. They make a high output stator that should be able to handle alot more current draw.
