Old or new big gun???

How can you tell if a big gun system is the old or new system?? i've heard bad stuff about the old one but good about the new.

Th e new stlye big gun has a cnc machined end cap the old one was just steel. The new one is spark arrested the old one was not. The new one has alot larger head pipe diameter than the old one.
