whats your plan for winter rebuilds

i am postive ive seen a thread on this before but couldnt find it so i might as well start one. i love this subject because this is where everyone does really cool stuff to their quads. post the stuff you wanna do and buy. ill start...mine isnt really going to be a rebuild since i just got the quad but more like just buying new stuff as i get the dough. heres a list of some stuff im planning on getting

im pretty sure this will be my list

burgard rear beadlocks with 18in tamers or razrmx

headlight covers

kill switch

hmf slip on for christmas if i can

Burgard +2's, PEP or TCS, LSR axle, AC Propegs, Rear beadlocks, and a cam. Hopefully i'll get enough money for this stuff but I doubt i'll get all of it.

i dont know if you would really call it a rebuild but my friend crashed my quad and now i need a new steering stem, new front tires, new clutch perch and lever, blocking off my parking brake, new seat cover, new bar pad, new grips

hmm i already got started on it a bit but what i got left is TCS shocks, tcs rear rebuild, black pc frame, swinger, subframe, clarke black 5.5 gallon tank, FCR 39mm carb kit, Hot cam stage 2, quadtech carbon fiber hood, maxxis razor 2s all arround one dougles red label .190s

I'm getting my stroker motor put together and my frame gusseted an pced again. It'll still look about the same just faster than it already is.

This is what going to be done to the motor.
Powroll stroker crank and heavy duty rod, JE 13:1 piston, h/d head studs, crf timing chain, Gt thunder 8 plate clutch.
And i'm putting my fully ported head with oversized valves and my cam from my motor in it.

well i blew my motor last month so thats done, just a small bore, i get the money at the beginnin of the year its gettin done again, well did everything2 weeks b4 the motor so pretty much done and looks good too

Well im doing my motor right now.... but as far as anything else the only 2 definite things are an axle and New Tires. I may get some powdercoating if i can find a local place to do it, an prolly sell my peps for elkas or TCS..... something to make my bike sit lower

well i am hopfully buying a full blown 400 and takinbg the motor out and selling it ( 426 motor) and replacing it with a blaster motor and getting a 1000 dollar motor work job done by hetrick racing...........thats about it for me :)

So far here it goes.


New OEM honda center cases,bearings and seals.
New oem honda 86 crank.
New oem honda 89 clutch update kit
New hermann racing bearing carrier
New all balls front wheel bearings
Pivot work linkage rebuild
pivot works swingarm pivot bearings
new oem honda swingarm bolt
hinson counter balancer holder
nac's casesaver
New 20/6/10 razr mx's on douglas .190's
New 18/10/8 razr mx's on mitchell .190's
Polished clutch case and cylinder,
Honed the cylinder with new wiseco rings



This stuff I still have to get


New hinson clutch basket
new OEM honda clutch
pro design shifter
New chain and sprockets
AC skids
AC grab bar.



That's all for my 250r.Hope to have it back togother before thanksgiving.
