hey guys i kno this is off topic but i can always relie on u guys! ok im just wondering if this is a good all around bike like how does it hold up is it reliable ect thanks alot yall

Those 85's are ****in fast I dont really believe you smoked a 400ex on one tho there about even

Nope i smoked him alright. 400ex had pipe, filter, jetted, 22inch tires.

KX had pipe and silencer. The Kids actually had 2 of them. Me and my buddy steve were on the KX's and Craig was on his 400ex and we smoked him along with a 2002 RM 125:p

My friend has a yz85 they are a great all around bike. His is pretty fast could probley hang with my z maybe beat it but it's probkley pretty close. I like all the 80 or 85 any 2 stroke one.

The YZ 85 is more of a race bike than a trail bike. It is a dog until 1/2 throttle, once past half, she flies :)

The KX or RM is more of a mannered type bike due to the power valve motor.

The YZ is the fastest as long as you are on the pipe. It screams.

This is as true as it gets. If you are looking for something to just have fun with, i would not go that route. My wife's CR85 was very weak down low. The instant you hit the power band, it ABSOLUTELY flew (in 3rd, it would lift the front tire instantly when you hit the pd and crack the throttle a little...with my 185 lb can on it). There was no in-between. It was all balls or nothing. She really didn't like it for that very reason.

If you want a 2 stroke to be able to cruise with, you really need to find a power valved motor....or get a thumper.
