Yesterday at Haspin Acres in the Halloween 100 team race. Got 6th out of 21 in C class running with Bradley300. 6th in C may not sound that great to alot of you, but this was only my third race and I did pitiful in the first two. I thought we had a chance to do decent as a team because of Bradley, I figured he would move us toward the top on his laps, then I would loose all of it back, etc, etc.. But as it turns out, Bradley got stuck in a mud hole on the first lap and we lost about 20 minutes, then I got off course and lost more time on my first lap. But then we both steadily worked our way back up through the pack the rest of the race to get 6th, the last place they give plaques for. It was a complete mud bath up there. Also congrats to my buds Steve and Eric from kentuckyriders.com for winning the Utility/Sport class. Here's a pic of me right after the race, check out the mud on my front tires:

And here's one of Steve and Eric that shows what the plaques were like, amazing how happy a $2 piece of fake wood can make you :D

I hate it too, but it was actually even worse then that about a month ago for one of their normal harescrambles! That place is a real chit hole, but it's the only place close that has a good harescramble series with good turnout - I think there were about 65 teams on Saturday, so around 130 riders total which I think is pretty good for a local race...

Is that mud, or quicksand??? :eek2: For running in those conditions, you deserve to get wood! Now that you have it, what will you do with it!!

Rem, you only got the wood b/c I let ya:blah: I deserve part of that plaque too b/c my 400ex helped! LOL. Good job though. I thought all of our guys did well. I wish I would have got a $2 plaque to remind me why I bent 3 rims, got 2 flats, and overflowed all of my engine coolant.

Just think Jess we could have had a 2nd place plaque up on the wall. Instead now we get to try again next year for 1st. Maybe we can develop a replaceable mud screen to keep the radiators from stopping up with mud and overheating the engine and patent it and make enough money to go buy our own wood to put up on the wall. lol I got one nice big ding in my rear rim. I will try to straighten it out this weekend. But overall, that's racin!
We will get them next year.

spincr4hire, I am having a time getting dimensions. My prob is all the sheep in the way (steering stem, front brake line, brake splitter, fram rails etc) I am working on some template designs and when I come up with something that works I'll get back with you.
