I finally though i was decided ona 416 to a 440 stroker but i have had a couple of people tell me they are very unreiable and can be a pain in the ***. Does anyone have one of these strokers and maybe you can tell me a yay or nay on the stroker. If they are no good i thought about going with a Tc 425 motor or somewhere along those lines

Thanks
John

Consider where you hear it from. Everything is unreliable if your third cousin's uncle Cletus puts it together. Spend a few extra bucks and have it done at a reputable shop, and you shouldn't have any problems (assuming, ofcourse, that you change the oil more than once a year and you don't bounce it off the rev limiter the whole time you ride it).

Well C&D racing told me they were unreliable and thats why they don't do them but powroll and fdo do them and i haven't heard any complaints about one but then again i don't know to many people that go the 416-440 stroker route so like i said i'm still confused

Thanks
John
