Well it was a wonderful weekend at Rausch Creek again. I was out because of my shoulder, so I was cameraman. Ross Miller is the guy on the 2003 warrior, and Randy Lehr is the guy on the modded YFZ. Both crazy guys.

That guy is nuts on the Warrior. I think he needs to get some suspension.. before he blows them out.

Ross and I are just a bunch of local 16yr olds who just started MX. We don't have the money for the good stuff yet. We both hope to have YFZ's and to be racing by next summer. I'm sure Ross appreciates the complements... :D

I guess that's proof that you don't need a $15,000 quad to go fast.

Nausty

nice jump for a warrior...

But whats really nice is that track. Its so nice lol, that would be heaven for me w/ all the un rutted big jumps. *drool*. All the jumps around here are rutted up, un even, wore down and have no pop. Its like twice as hard because you gotta learn exactly how to read the faces of jumps to tell how they throw you. I wounder what its like hitting jumps that nice. lol. I bet they send you flying and you pry barely have to hit to hit them. They pry launch you straight too.:D

Here are the gear / throttle amounts for the bigger jumps.

65ftr - 5th pinned
60ft table - 5th almost pinned
50ftr - 4th almost pinned
40fr- 4th 1/4 to 1/2 (because you its right after the 50, momentum carries you over)

He and I do the same jumps, But I've got a Blaster, but its still same gear / throttle amounts.

You should come on over and ride, Nausty :D

i want to say he is sick for doing those jumps on a stock warrior. those jumps are massive in size. i bet they are a rush to jump.

Technically, but I'm sure he carries alot of corner speed in order to clear those jumps.

props to the guy on the warrior!

BUt

I think he is just plain crazy doing that, if he keeps it up its not going to be long til he breaks that quad in half and kill himself.

the workers at rausch really shouldnt let him jump that thing like that.it is not a sport quad.:o

i gota give props to you guys. warior and a blaster!! those are big jumps. I can't believe your rims arnt square! not to mention your shocks turning into J's. you gotta land thos perfect or theres gonna be trouble on a stock warior or blaster. thats the biggest deiffernce betewn stock quads and built racers. Built racers are more forgiving when you screw up.

beeerock - As long as I land pretty decent on the landing my shocks don't bottom out, or if they do it's not really harsh at all so I doubt my quad will break in half :D The pictures make the jump seem bigger than it is.
