my 91 250x wont start. makes a bubbling sound when kicked and then it tries to turn on but then it sounds weird, already checked all the wiring and got a new plug. what could this possibly be.

Is your jetting right? Sounds like it might be getting too much gas.

sounds like it might not have much compression, like your top end may be gone, did it die when u were ridin it or u just went to ride and it wouldnt start??????

is it any easier to kick down than usual? how much resistance is on your kick lever?

Sounds like it may have jumped time or a valve stuck open... Either way it prolly doesn't have compression...

this is what happend. i had a leak in my gas tank so i took it off and put apoxy on it, then i had just got a new wb cam put in it so i needed a valve adjustment. i thought it was that, then i spent all day from 10 to 6 then the next morning i just tried connecting ne wires that were loose and luckily enough coming off my roost boost ignition the wires were all ripped apart. Some how i had cut them. Problem solved.
